POOL FUN: Esprit del Mar’s infinity-edged pool is crowned with an oversized whirlpool for eight where the “hard work” of mid-winter beach-front sunbathing can be cooled down. The terraced garden has an elevated beach-sand area with loungers for tanning, reading, or just gazing at the sea. This rock-bound beach-sand area has a firepit for night celebrations or telling family stories around the bonfire. Walk down the path to the small rocky bay and enter the sandy-bottomed sea for an uplifting swim in the soothing Caribbean Sea.
AT PELICAN FLIGHT LEVEL: The 3,000 sq. ft. rooftop has two palapa-covered open-air rooms. Take a mid-day rooftop complimentary massage, read a book in the shaded outdoor living room, or come up to this magical spot to experience a spectacular sunset over the jungle in the west with your complimentary margarita. If going out to one of the area’s wonderful restaurants is not in your plans, the villa chef will prepare and serve a sumptuous meal in the breath-taking dining room.
LUXURIOUS BEDROOMS: Esprit del Mar has nine sumptuous air-conditioned suits – offering 250-300 sq. ft. each. Eight of the nine-bedrooms feature plush king-size beds wrapped in the finest bedding. The oversized Master Bedroom is a 1,000 sq. ft. suite with private balcony. All other bedrooms on the main house have stunning views of the sea. Withing the lush green jungle of the region Esprit del Mar features five garden suits with unparalleled peace and quiet, each of them with private balcony seating areas, hanging hammocks and “chukun” bathrooms (beautiful local Mayan material). One of the bedrooms on the main house is for adventurers (or children), complete with two sets of bunk beds, beautiful ocean views and outdoor sleeping bed on the balcony overlooking the jungle. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms – either with showers or hand-made bathtubs. All bedrooms offer air conditioning.
MILES OF SANDY BEACH: Walk 200 yards stroll to the south of the villa takes you to Oasis Beach. There you can join others along strolling and relaxing along miles of powder white sand… usually are many people there, walking and lounging, so you will mostly take a long wonderful walk and return to your very private and secluded villa. Beaches in Mexico are all public by law, so you can walk on any beach with comfort.
PERFECTLY LOCATED: Technically in Akumal, Tulum, Villa Esprit del Mar is perfectly located 15 minutes north of the main activities in the City and the beaches of Tulum. The villa is 25 minutes south of Playa del Carmen. Esprit del Mar is five minutes from Akumal, where guests will find markets, shops and a variety of restaurants.
All Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 – Mi Corazón Suite
This is a marvelously rich bottom floor Master Suite. You can hear the waves and see dune vegetation and the ocean with nobody in sight from this ground floor suite. It has easy access to the living area and kitchen and a small balcony. Watch the sunrise, read a book or sleep wonderfully on the king sized bed. The en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, soft marble double sinks and huge mirror.
Bedroom 2 – Mi Alma Suite
A second Master Suite is situated across the Hall from “Mi Alma” offering full ocean views, spacious balcony and luxurious soaker tub with a lovely vaulted ceiling and a chandelier. You can soak while sipping Champagne and looking at the sea. The all-marble bathroom also has a double sink and walk-in shower. Oh yes, we almost forgot to mention the beautiful king sized bed, large closet, ample sitting area and large balcony overlooking the sea. This suite is definitely an oasis within the oasis that is Esprit del Mar.
Bedroom 3 – La Luz Suite
Wait, another Master Suite? Across the hall from the first Master Suite a second amazing room awaits, with full ocean views, balcony and long, luxurious soaker tub. The king sized bed in the perfect spot for waking up to endless ocean views.
Bedroom 4 – Mi Vida Suite
This fun room is perfect for younger adventurers with its two sets of bunk beds, a small balcony and views of both ocean and jungle. The en-suite bathroom has a walk in shower and double sinks. The balcony has a comfortable double bed where guests can lounge or sleep plus a fun filled outdoor shower overlooking the tropical jungle.
Bedroom 5 – Mi Tierra Suite
Situated on the ground floor of the villa, this suite has a huge tub that seems like a small swimming pool, a generous king size bed, a single bed and small sitting area with garden view.
Bedroom 6 – Mi Jardín Suite
Located on the ground floor in the garden section next to the main house, this jungle suite boasts a king sized bed, a single bed, a well designed sitting area, along with oversized bathtub and walk-in shower all created in “chukun”, a gorgeous looking natural Mayan technique. This bedroom has all the comforts of hard wood closet, dresser, A/C and fan as well as a private garden terrace with a hammock.
